A Lightning Card is one of the cards randomly selected after bet-close that carries a multiplier from two times up to eight times. If your winning hand includes that card and you bet Player or Banker straight, your payout multiplies by the card's value.

How does the Lightning Round work?

After all bets close but before the dealer draws cards, the game picks one to five random cards and assigns each a multiplier. Those cards light up on screen. If your winning hand draws any of them, the multipliers compound together and apply to your payout.

What is the maximum multiplier in Lightning Baccarat?

Each Lightning Card carries a multiplier between two times and eight times. If five Lightning Cards all appear in your winning hand, the multipliers compound, giving a theoretical maximum of 262,144× on a single round, though the actual odds are extremely low.

Why does Banker pay 20 percent commission in Lightning Baccarat?

Standard Baccarat charges five percent commission on Banker wins because Banker has a slightly better probability. Lightning Baccarat raises it to twenty percent to fund the multiplier feature, balancing the game's payout structure while keeping the core rules intact.

Can I bet on Tie and still get Lightning multipliers?

No. Lightning multipliers apply only to straight Player or Banker bets. Tie bets, Player Pair and Banker Pair pay their standard odds without any multiplier, even if the hand includes Lightning Cards.

What happens if no Lightning Cards appear in the winning hand?

You still win or lose according to normal Baccarat rules. Player bets pay even money, Banker bets pay even money minus twenty percent commission, and Tie bets pay eight to one. The multiplier feature simply does not activate that round.
